LaVera D. Aaron, 69, Kokomo, passed away at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010, at her residence. She was born May 3, 1941, in Robinson, Ill., to Elmer Gordon Creed and Mary Jane (Thompson) Creed. On June 6, 1957, in La Porte, she married Norman Aaron, and he survives.
She had attended La Porte High School. She had been a beautician at Regis Beauty Salon in Kokomo for many years. She enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Norman Allan Aaron, Kyle, Texas; son, Lance and wife Debbie Aaron, Kokomo; brother, Doug Creed, La Porte; granddaughter, Heather and husband Brad VanMeter, Kokomo; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Tyler VanMeter, both of Kokomo; special friends, Jerry and Janet; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Aaron; one sister; and two brothers.
